Rex Wilson
Our communities deserve to feel safe, and the men and women who wear the badge deserve our full support. Rex supported stronger penalties for criminals who assault law enforcement officers and backed measures to give authorities more tools to intervene when dangerous individuals pose a risk to our families. He will always stand with the deputies and officers protecting District 33.
Too many families in District 33 have to drive hours to see a doctor. Rex helped pass medical malpractice reforms to stop trial lawyers from driving physicians out of our state and supported cutting the red tape that's kept qualified doctors from practicing in rural New Mexico. Our loved ones deserve quality care close to home.
Law-abiding citizens should never be punished for the actions of criminals. Rex pushed back against unconstitutional gun grab proposals that targeted honest New Mexicans instead of the people actually committing crimes. He will continue to defend the right of every citizen to protect their family and their home.
Spending has grown exponentially under this Governor, yet too many families still struggle to make ends meet. Rex opposed the latest budget and its burdensome new tax hikes because throwing more money at problems with little to no accountability just doesn't work. Santa Fe owes the people of District 33 better.
Rex and his Republican colleagues successfully defeated extreme environmental mandates that threatened jobs, increased energy costs, and hurt working families. He will keep standing up for the ranchers, energy workers, and small business owners who built this state and who keep District 33 running.
Rex's commitment is simple: protect your freedoms, support law enforcement, strengthen rural healthcare, grow our economy, and be responsible with your tax dollars. It is an honor to serve District 33, and he will keep working to make sure your voice is heard in Santa Fe.
